The goal of all of us who work at MAKALU is for you to enjoy the unique flavors we offer you, just as much as we enjoy the process of making them!!!MAKALUMakalu is the fifth highest mountain in the world at 8,481 meters (27,825 ft).
It is located in the Mahalangur Himalayas, 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Everest, Nepal.
One of the Oktahiliara mountains (mountains with an altitude of more than 8 km), Makalu is an isolated peak in the shape of a four-sided pyramid.Makalu has two notable secondary peaks.
Kangchungtse, or Makalu II (7,678 m) is about three kilometers (two miles) north-northwest of the main peak.
Chomo Lonzo (7,804 m) rises about 5 km north-northeast of the main peak on a broad plateau and is connected to Kangchungtse by a narrow, 7,200 m saddle.You should never consider climbing Makalu during winter.
The first time people climbed Makalu during the winter was in 2009.
